The host was friendly and really helpful, and the rooms were very nice. There are some good restaurants and bars nearby, though the better ones are farther away and need a taxi. A very nice shrine and an okay beach are also within walking distance.

I felt right at home here. The place was spacious, very clean, and in a super calm, safe area. I loved the tatami room, and the bed was really comfortable. I only stayed two nights, so I can’t say if this was normal, but I had no hot water at all :( A mug or two for tea or coffee would’ve been nice instead of just plastic cups. Still, it was a great experience for the price, and I wanted to stay longer.
