REF Okinawa Arena by VESSEL HOTELS

The location feels pretty isolated, with no malls or shops I noticed within walking distance, but that was fine since we had a car. Restaurants and aeon mall were about a 5-7 minute drive away, and the highway exit is close. The big building and logo also make the hotel easy to spot. There’s a huge car park beside it and a huge family mart right out front, handy if you don’t want to eat at the hotel or drive out for food. Inside, the rooms have nice space and decor, the staff were friendly, and there’s a public bath. They even provide separate slippers for the room and for walking to the bath. Welcome drink tickets let you choose from alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. It’s a very new, nice place, and I’d 100% stay again.

I was here for the Eisa festival and really liked the bath house. The room was clean, nicely designed, and felt thoughtfully put together. I stayed in a double, though, and it was quite small. Once my carry-on was open, I could barely lay it flat.

Everything was new, clean, and nice, and the front desk staff were kind. Still, it was only an okay stay and felt a little pricey. The 8th floor lounge was closed, even though we were told to go there for a welcome drink. Also, the Deluxe Twin Room has futons on the floor and furniture sized for children. The table and chairs seem made for someone under 4' tall :-) The cheap-looking white staff t-shirts were tacky. Karayushi shirts should be the standard here.

A 24-hour Family Mart is right beside the hotel, and there's a huge parking lot. My stay was good, and at this price I was fine with there being no bathtub. Google navigation hasn't been updated yet, so look things up before driving. We asked for extra pillows, but they didn't have enough in stock. I'd recommend staying here.
