We had a two-night stay in a second-floor room in the LUNA building. There was plenty of space for six of us, and the view was great. Mr. Shimabukuro was very kind and attentive, and I was especially impressed by how clean the place was and how well equipped it was for a comfortable trip. Just keep in mind that getting here without a rental car may be difficult.

We chose LUNA for a three-generation family trip with a 10-month-old and a 3-year-old, and were glad we found it. They provided bedding and diaper bags for the kids, which was reassuring. There’s lots of room, and sitting on the big sofa with a drink and the view of Onna Village was a lovely way to unwind. Dinner was easy too. There are restaurants and convenience stores within a five-minute walk downhill, and many restaurants offer free shuttles. We liked Yamashiro-tei, the Agu pork place near Moon Beach. In the morning, we took a relaxed walk, then came back to coffee beans and a dedicated coffee maker. Having a fragrant cup while looking out at the sea was a treat. A great villa for a trip to Okinawa with young kids.

The scenery around the place felt so full of nature, even though the location was convenient. That contrast gave it a real sense of escape. The building and furnishings were thoughtfully done and comfortable, simple and stylish in just the way I like. The view and the whole stay were fantastic. I was still riding that happy feeling for ages afterward, haha. I definitely want to come back.

We were all blown away by the view, with the pool in front, then a huge stretch of green, and the ocean beyond it. We had a room with a private heated pool, so we could swim even though the weather was cold. The room was fantastic too. We’ll definitely visit again.
