2Z - Doyanen Hotels

Osaka 2Z Doyanen Hotel was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed our stay there. It's in a very good spot near stations and an onsen, and the price was excellent.

It's easy to explore the city from here, with Namba Station just two stops away. The area is quieter, which was nice, and the staff were professional and polite throughout. Our room was very clean, in keeping with the high standards I expect in Japan, and the price was great for what we got. I had a good stay.

We were two people with our 11-year-old and stayed five nights. The room was small, but clean and well kept, which seemed fair for the reasonable price. I did miss having some basic kitchen things, especially cups and cutlery. The location near the Osaka Loop Line made it easy to get around, and it's a good budget option.

Getting around was easy from here. JR Shin-Imamiya Station is about a 10-minute walk, with connections to Osaka City, Kansai Airport, Nara, Kyoto, and nearby cities. Food was easy to find nearby, too, with convenience stores close by. The lounge is spacious and there are vending machines. Although my room was private, the bathrooms are shared, with women-only, men-only, and mixed options. That worked fine for me. The hotel is mostly self check-in, but staff were helpful when I arrived in the afternoon. Our room was set up for three though only two of us stayed. It came with one small and one large towel, and getting extra or fresh towels during the stay costs extra. There's no daily cleaning service. Given the price and conditions, I'd give it five points for value and location, and recommend it to friends or other budget travelers.
