Astil Hotel Juso Precious

Juso has plenty of shops and restaurants, and the hotel is close to the train station, which makes it easy to travel around Japan. Stops are announced in both Japanese and English. For rail trips, I recommend an IC card or the IC card app on your phone. My wife, daughters, and I enjoyed our time at Astil Hotel Juso Precious and in Osaka. The staff are friendly and really helpful, though most speak little beyond their native language. Google Translate and other translation apps worked fine for us. Room service is managed with magnetic signs on the inside of the door. Put one outside by 9:00 if you need service. “Do not disturb” means they'll leave fresh towels and small amenities in a bag at your door. “Please clean room” requests a full cleaning and replacement towels and amenities. I'd put the sign out the night before. There's a decent buffet breakfast at Astil Hotel, served until 10:00. If you miss it, food from a local 7-11 or other convenience store is inexpensive, filling, and delicious. The hotel also has a bathhouse that's worth a visit for a relaxing soak. Bathing means being completely unclothed and washing before you soak, as Japanese bathhouse etiquette requires. The washing areas, towels, and showers are provided, as is a sauna. The baths are separated by gender, and the locker room passcode changes daily.
