Bijou Suites Lieto APM

My unit came equipped with a kitchen and a washer-dryer. The apartment was clean and secure, and it would suit a couple of days in Osaka or a break from hotels during a trip.

We had a great three-night stay. Frespo supermarket is an easy walk away, and Awaza station is about seven minutes on foot. The amenities were all there.

It's a self-service place, so we didn't see any staff during the stay. The apartment has everything you need, and the metro is only a few minutes away, with connections to wherever you want to go. If you're sending your luggage on, use Yamato deliveries.

We came back for a second stay, first from 4/04 to 4/13 2025, then again from 4/15 to 4/17. You get a lot for the price. Nearby hotels charged at least $10 to $20 usd more and didn't even have a microwave. At Bijou suites lieto apm in nishi-ku, where we stayed, there were more amenities than in my us apartment lol. I can't speak for the other branches. There's a regular bed and a sofa bed, plus a full kitchen with oil and a selection of spices. The washer and dryer are there too, with the dryer built into the bathroom. They use a built-in dehumidifier that way in japan. The appliances are fairly new. The first apartment had older ones than the second, but both sets were pretty new. Everything was easy to use as a foreigner, with QR-code manuals and translations everywhere. Really loved that. Getting help was the main snag. You can't contact management or staff on a usa number, only by email or a japanese number, and there's no one physically on site unless you happen to see cleaning staff. The location could be better, but you're in japan, so expect to walk. It's about ten minutes to the metro and five to the nearest convenience store. There's also a 24-hour grocery store toward the park, around a ten-minute walk. I'd stay here over any hotel in the nishiku ward. You get more and pay less.
