The room and bathroom are both tiny. The sink sits over part of the little bathtub, leaving hardly any room for your legs on the toilet. I expected a small room, but there isn’t much else here beyond a coin laundry, a water dispenser on each floor, vending machine, and microwave. With 500+ rooms, there are just two laundry machines, though I usually saw them sitting unused. It feels like very little was changed when the hotel was rebranded. Odd seeing a Marriott brand on a place like this, and the breakfast looked underwhelming, though I didn’t try it. Given the price, I don’t have many complaints, but I wouldn’t stay again.

The location made this hotel for me. It’s really close to the metro, so you can get pretty much anywhere. I booked a single room, but my elite status got me a complimentary upgrade to a double. The room was clean, had the basic necessities, and stayed very quiet at night, so I slept well. I enjoyed my stay in Osaka.

Hommachi station is conveniently close, and the hotel itself was clean. But the room is too small for two people. The bathroom is especially cramped: I kept bumping into the wall in the shower, and the toilet seat space only seems suited to a smaller person. There’s no bottled water in the room, though a dispenser is next to the elevator. Q-tips, shower tower, an extra toothbrush, and bathrobe are available in the lobby.

The room was small, but comfortable enough for sleeping, and the staff were attentive and professional. Don’t count on recognition for titanium elite status. For the price, what they provide is fair. I’d stay here for business again, but probably not for a leisure trip.

If you’re taller than average, this place feels cramped, especially for a regular Western sized body. The bathroom is tiny too, from the low mirror to the small bathtub.
