Getting to USJ in the morning was easy from here. There's a free boat from the nearby dock to the closest station, two stops from Universal City station. The rooms and facilities were clean and new, and the luggage elevator helped us get our heavy bags upstairs. It was also a great, affordable place to stay in Osaka. The owner was helpful and nice to talk to, too. I'd recommend it.

Your warm smiles and thoughtful kindness made this the most memorable hotel of our vacation. The place was lovely and clean, and we're grateful for everything you do for us. We'll definitely come back. You're friends to us now.

Kan was so friendly, and the guesthouse is easy to get to if you're visiting Universal Studios. The room was clean and a little small for larger people, but it suited me perfectly. The elevator was cool and efficient for my luggage. I'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling in Japan.

I was turned away at the front door after arriving 30 minutes past the 10 PM check-in cutoff. Nobody would respond or even speak with me. They called the police to make me leave, even though I'd been waiting on the bench outside for someone to come out. No one did. The staff stayed inside until officers arrived two hours later and made me find another room and work out how to get there. I'd spent the day in damp clothes dealing with scarce taxis, blocked routes, and a flight delayed by five hours. I was coming from Hong Kong, which was experiencing its heaviest rain in over 140 years, and just wanted a shower and sleep. None of that seemed to matter. The place was quiet and remote, and I wasn't even given a chance to explain my situation. Worst rental experience I've had anywhere. A great first experience in Japan.
