We spent two weeks here in 2024 and really enjoyed it. It’s well located, with several train stations within walking distance. The apartment was comfortable and had what our family needed, including with two small children along. I’d highly recommend it if you want an experience of living in Osaka.

Our hosts kindly drove us to our ferry and took us on a tour of Osaka Bay. Getting to USJ was quick and easy, and we had no trouble taking trains into the wider Osaka area. The apartment made it easy for our group of two couples to relax and spend time together, with a full kitchen, a Western-style table and couches. Two showers, three bathrooms and more than five sinks meant daily life was very convenient. One of my best Airbnb stays.

Staying here through Airbnb was awful. The owner was extremely rude and insulted one of our guests three times. That kind of disrespect gives you a clear idea of the experience. I’d suggest a hotel with more comfortable beds, where there isn’t an old man insulting or body-shaming you and your guests.
