Hotel Vine Osaka Kitahama

It was quiet, and I slept well. The location is very convenient, and the service was top notch. Our room was so small that we had to ask staff to remove a chair to make extra space for our luggage. I just wish breakfast had fresh fruit.

The air purifier and humidifier kept my room feeling and smelling great, a nice extra I hadn’t seen in other hotels. I also want to call out the staff at Hotel Vine. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, and made my Osaka stay that much more special. Do yourself a favor and eat in the dinner hall, which has some great J-POP and K-POP collectible memorabilia from groups like BTS and Blackpink. I really loved staying here.

The staff were kind, the location worked well, and the room was cleaned daily. The AC worked perfectly, and the soundproofing was good. But there was nowhere to put clothes: just two tiny desk drawers and a wall rail for a few hangers, so we basically lived out of our luggage. Cigarette smoke was strong around the lobby entrance and the outdoor seating area, and breakfast was poor. The window was blurred, so there was no view, though daylight still came in. Video calls were difficult too, since the Wi-Fi kept dropping and LTE barely worked.

Getting around was easy, with two 7/11s just steps away, cafes nearby, and the metro about five minutes on foot. Hotel Vine is modern, clean, peaceful, and the rooms are big enough if you're mainly using them to sleep. The en suite bathroom was handy, towels were replaced daily, and you can choose whether to have the room cleaned. Free coffee and soft drinks downstairs were nice to come back to. We weren't told much at check-in because of the language barrier, so we weren't sure how things worked. We got fresh towels every day but didn't know where to leave the old ones, and by the end of the week they had piled up along with the rubbish. Still, it was a great stay, and we'd book again if we're back in Osaka. Thanks, Hotel Vine.
