The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from NANKAI STATION, and the price felt worth it for that. But there was no service. The hotel is very old, and after 11pm the lights in the entrance and on each floor are switched off, which was horrible. The hotspring is only available from 18:00-00:00. The female Chinese receptionists were very rude, with no smiles or eye contact, and kept speaking Chinese in the reception area. It made me feel like I was in China instead of Japan.

The location is very central and the rooms are spacious, though older. What made our stay uncomfortable was all the mould and dust, including on the walls and the mattress in our room. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

For a 2 star hotel, it was better than I expected, though not luxurious. The room was an okay size, with a 1,5 person bed, and there’s a small onsen. It’s very close to Namba station, and food is easy to find just around the corner since breakfast isn’t offered.

The location is strategic, but I don’t really recommend the place. There’s no luggage storage after checkout, which I feel any hotel should offer. The onsen is decent, but not worth the extra 250 yen per night.
