Kei was kind and helpful, and the free WiFi worked reliably. The walk to the subway takes about ten minutes. Our room was fairly spacious, with good air conditioning, and the traditional Japanese futon beds were comfortable. The place was clean, peaceful, and quiet. I really enjoyed staying here and recommend it.

Kei made us feel welcome, and that warm atmosphere helped make the stay great. The place is very clean, with free fast internet, comfortable beds, and air conditioning in the room. It’s also well located, just a short walk from the subway, so getting around the city and beyond was easy. Best place to stay in Osaka!

We felt right at home in Japan thanks to Kei. It was our first visit, and he helped us figure out where to go and which train to take. Osaka Backpackers is a sweet traditional Japanese house, kept very clean and well placed for shops, the subway, and the train station. We had such a lovely time and can’t recommend it enough!

A really nice hostel for the price, with clean rooms, good beds, helpful staff, and good WiFi. The neighborhood is quiet, but the metro and bars and restaurants are only five minutes away. I’d definitely recommend it.
