Ocean Tsutenkaku

The room faced the street, so a motorcycle going by could be noisy at night. Earplugs solved it for us. Otherwise, our three days here were very comfortable, with a spacious room, a nice bathroom, and a kitchenette. Restaurants and Tennoji park were a short walk away, and the shopping malls were just on the other side.

There was plenty of space for our family of four, and the room had everything we needed, including air conditioning. The balcony came in handy for drying clothes. Check-in was easy, and we were close to a convenience store, the subway, and Osaka Zoo. Ocean Tsutenkaku is in the retro Tsutenkaku area, and I'd recommend it to travelers.

We had a quiet, peaceful apartment to come back to after exploring, even though Tsutenkaku Tower was only two minutes away. The train station was a five-minute walk. The two air-conditioning units kept the whole place comfortable, and the space felt more like home than a hotel. Entry with the secure door code was easy. It isn't a serviced property, but the privacy and convenience suited us well during our five nights in Osaka.

We were here in November ‘24 with my wife and our three young boys. The location made getting to shops, attractions, and the metro easy. My wife checked us in on the tablet without any trouble, and we used the washing machine most days. The shower was so good, and the Japanese toilet was a godsend. We ran the AC every day and made a few basic things in the kitchen. I did have to keep reminding the kids not to stomp around and bother the neighbors. For the money, I thought it was great, and we'd stay again.
