The location is excellent and the price seems fair, but we wish we’d known what to expect before we got there. A large group of us booked nearly the whole building because we mistakenly thought each floor had a three-bedroom apartment where we could gather and eat together. Instead, each floor has three separate studio apartments, with no shared space for families to have a meal. The rooms weren’t very clean or well equipped, and there was no customer service available. The rear room on each floor backs onto railway tracks, and trams started running just before 7am each morning. Our bed was broken. When we emailed photos, they replied that the cleaner hadn’t told them about it, which didn’t make us hopeful they’d look into a repair. I wish we’d checked Google Reviews before trusting the Booking.com reviews, which were wildly positive compared with what we found.

The spot is convenient, with stations and restaurants close by, but the room itself was awful. It was dirty, covered in stains, and falling apart. The beds and Wi-Fi were awful too.

For such a prime location, the price is hard to beat. The building is a little old, though the cleanliness seems to have improved a lot since the earlier reviews.

If you have a dust allergy, I wouldn't recommend staying here. There was so much dust, and it was dirtier than you'd expect.

I found the place clean overall, though there was dust up high and in hard-to-reach spots, as you'd find in most places. I'm nearly two meters tall, so I probably notice more of it. I don't travel looking for luxury, just somewhere clean to sleep with a private bathroom, and this worked well. I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad. The fourth floor has three separate mini-apartments, and you have the whole floor to yourselves. That setup could work really well for friends who want privacy. Each unit has its own bathroom and a kitchenette in the bedroom. One is larger because of how the furniture and beds are arranged. I took the photo on the day I left. There are several useful things in the apartment: air conditioning, a vacuum, hairdryer, microwave, and stovetop. There's a closet for suitcases and hanging clothes too. I would've liked more glasses, but mugs were fine. They don't give you many towels, though I didn't ask for extras. There's a washing machine, and a coin laundry with a dryer is half a block away. You can hear trains in the distance, but it didn't bother me. There are two stations nearby, including one on a JR line. I do recommend it for groups, with no more than two people per apartment. Even with the extra sofa bed, three felt cramped unless one of them is a child.
