S-Peria Inn Osaka Hommachi

I booked a corner twin room. It was small, but clean, cozy, and good value for the price. There was even a pillow menu, which I didn't expect at a 3-star hotel. Breakfast choices were limited, but fair for the room rate, and the friendly staff kept the stations stocked. The location is close to the subway's blue line, a few stops from Namba station. The red line gets you there with a 600m walk. What I appreciated most was the daily housekeeping. A lot of hotels in JP now do eco cleaning and don't change the linen, and at one place I stayed they didn't even empty the rubbish bins. Here, the room was kept tidy every day. The housekeeping staff were so consistent, and even tucked my teddy bear neatly into the bed under the blankets.

We had a double room, and it was spacious, very clean, and had a chic interior. The area is wide and close to the highway, with easy access to three subway lines. The free coffee and drinks were delicious too. Worth staying here in Osaka! (Reviewed via Agoda)

I needed somewhere outside the room to take a conference call, but the hotel wouldn't let me use the empty breakfast venue and had no other space available. I couldn't understand why the room couldn't be used, and this place doesn't work well if you need to do business here. My parents and I booked a triple room for vacation and were shocked by how small it was. The website photos made the twin or two-bed setup look okay, so we booked it, but there was zero room for three beds and hardly any space to walk, especially with our luggage. Don't book their triple room. You'll be left stuck, particularly since they wouldn't offer us another room to book on the spot.

The area is nice and the subway is easy to reach, but inside the hotel didn't look very clean. The carpets had lots of stains, and there were patches of dirt on the walls.
