Hotel Tamano - Vacation STAY 41651v

The design had a nice feel, and the hotel was clean with no particular problems. My single room was an average size, with an outlet beside the pillow that made charging my phone easy. Wi-Fi was slow, though fine for ordinary use. The bath area can be locked and reserved privately for about 30 minutes. I went at a good time, perhaps, and didn't have to wait. The tub is quite deep, so be careful if children are using it, and the water was a bit hot. They mention a sauna, but it may be closed or out of order. There's a coffee machine and lots of comics in the lobby. Breakfast is a set meal, not a buffet. The station is about a five-minute walk, but there's not much nearby. The closest convenience store is around 15 minutes away on foot, and the supermarket is also about 15 minutes away, across the station. There is a set-meal restaurant about three minutes away. The hotel is along the road, but traffic is light and noise wasn't a problem.

It's an older building, but they keep it clean. The air conditioning took a while to kick in, and the unit bath had a strong disinfectant smell because it couldn't be turned on right after entering. Driving made it easy to reach convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants. Nights seemed fairly quiet.

I found it very relaxing overall. It was thoughtful to have a heater in the hallway, and the bath locks from the inside so it can be reserved for private use. There was a sofa in the room too, which was nice. Great!

The large public bath can be booked for private use. Wi-Fi is slow, but it does connect. Not having convenience stores nearby was inconvenient.
