The place is small and old, with an antique feel and carefully looked-after details in the corners.

That agedashi fig was a surprise, especially since I'm usually not a fan of figs. It was delicious, as was the seasonal omakase lunch, served in a private tatami room. At 5,000 yen it felt well worth it, and I'd even pay more.

We had a lovely family stay at this ryokan-style place, with its private spa. I'd definitely recommend it for a family trip.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the service was friendly. The traditional ryokan is also very well maintained.

A nice place to get a feel for a traditional Japanese ryokan.
