The owner seemed like a cool guy, and the house has a nice basic setup: a dorm upstairs, a small shared space and kitchen, plus one shower and toilet downstairs. Each bed has its own light and power socket, though there are no security lockers. I only stayed one night before an early flight and wished I could have stayed longer. It's about a five-minute walk from the station, and the train gets you downtown in 20 minutes. Aeon Mall is nearby too. The house is easy to miss from outside and could use a proper sign. It's a little beyond downtown, so the hostel price felt steep to me.

Koji-san has a great eye, and this oshare guest house feels like his artistic touch is everywhere. The beds are comfy, and the rooms feel cozy and welcoming, with a few different lighting levels. It's about 15 minutes from the city center, but that also makes it quieter and more like a hideaway. I recommend it!

The area is residential and a little bland, but the local train makes it easy to get around Osaka. Staff were nice, and the facilities were basic but fair for the price and location. The beds are simple bunks.

The reception staff were kind and helpful, and the place itself was very nice.

Good vibes here, with an old-fashioned, personal feel.
