The owner was kind and easy to chat with. They shared general fishing tips and even checked whether I needed ice and how I was feeling after we’d fished in heavy rain the day before. That made the stay feel especially welcoming. I came on the first day of yamame trout season and was impressed by the room: it was roomy, had its own bath and toilet, and included a fridge that could keep ice packs frozen. That’s handy for anglers. The parking area is at the top of a steep hill, at least in my view, so first-time visitors may be caught off guard. I’d bring a car I’m comfortable driving. The building and facilities aren’t modern, but if you’re fine with an old-fashioned feel, this is a lovely inn. I’m almost hesitant to recommend it in case more anglers show up, lol, but it deserves support. I’ll stay again next time I come fishing. Thank you.
