The buffet at the restaurant near the entrance had a good range of Japanese and Western food, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious. There’s also a hot spring next to the restaurant and a souvenir shop beside the front desk. Past the desk, the grounds have lots of domes shaped like animal faces, plus athletic facilities, so it seems like a good place for families with kids. I was drawn here by the cute dome-shaped bungalow-style rooms. The front desk looks like a golf clubhouse, and there were lots of people waiting to check in. About seven counters were all busy serving guests. Once I got checked in, a staff member drove me to the room in a cart. It took around three minutes along narrow paths between the domes, or about five minutes to walk. They give you a map at the desk, so it’s hard to get lost. There was a vending machine outside my room, too. The room felt a little dated, but the bathroom was spacious and I was satisfied.

It was comfortable right through checkout, and just being in the space made me feel excited. The view changes completely depending on the time of day, with a fantastical look at night.

My first time staying at Toretore Village, and my child was thrilled with the adventure area at Village 8, just as I’d hoped. The planned festival was another thing he’d been looking forward to, and seeing how happy he was made me happy too. There’s a shop in the village where you can buy drinks, alcohol, and food, which was convenient. The room was clean and well maintained. I loved the stay and would like to visit again.

The seafood buffet at dinner was amazing. I wanted to try everything 🍣 and ate far more than I could manage. My kids and I had a great time, and it was a lovely memory. Thanks to all the staff! ♪ The only thing that bothered me was a smell in the room, which may have been the Japanese-style room.
