Shirako White Palace

It's been several years, so my memory's a little hazy, but I remember the food being delicious, especially the rice. The hot spring water was unusual and felt great. I heard there's tennis there, and I'd like to give it a try next time. The location isn't very convenient since it's not near a train station, so I rated that part low.

The building is old, but it's been kept up really well. There's a convenience store nearby, and I appreciated how politely the landlady treated us. When I asked if they could store a freezer for ice packs, they agreed right away. They provide shampoo, conditioner, cleansing oil, face wash, lotion, and other basics. Just note there's no fridge in the room. Bringing a cooler box takes care of that.

We've returned to this inn several times with our social club. The hot springs and meals are delicious, and the tennis courts are easy to use. We always appreciate the warm, very courteous service, including how flexible they've been with birthday surprises and how quickly they contacted us after we lost our wallets. We've had a really fulfilling time here and would definitely like to come back.

The kids absolutely loved the hot springs, which warm you right through. The proprietress also makes special desserts with love. This is a really pleasant hotel, with the kind of heartwarming hospitality the description promises 😊.
