Hokkado Love割適応 Shionoyu Onsen

It's across the road from my house. Mine doesn't have a hot spring either, so I don't use it.

We had nine adults, four kids, and one big dog, and it worked out great for our group. From outside the building looked old, but inside it was spotless, and the furniture, dishes, appliances, futon covers, and bath towels all looked new. The bathroom was spacious and the hot water was excellent. We barbecued outside, and breakfast outdoors felt lovely. It was ideal for staying with dogs. I'd like to come back.

The sulfur-smelling hot spring water was wonderful, with an incredible slippery feel that eased my fatigue. This is an entire private house you can rent, and it seems fairly old, with some Showa-era switches and outlets that somehow look stylish. The renovation is beautiful, and the older details blend in nicely. There are all sorts of dishes and appliances, plus a large wooden deck for BBQs. A grill is provided, but of course no charcoal lol. It's a great place, and I'd like to return.

The buildings feel a little old, and the whole area has a somewhat desolate, once-popular hot spring resort feel, like Lushan Hot Spring. But the spring water is fantastic, leaving your skin smooth and feeling really comfortable after a soak. The water flow, though, can't be controlled.
