The traditional setting was beautiful, the food was excellent, and the hot bath was lovely. The kindest people we met on our trip were here. It was wonderful, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting an authentic Japanese onsen experience at a genuinely affordable price.

What an amazing trip. The meals, onsen, rooms, and service were all beyond anything I’d experienced before. It’s a must-see in the area, and worth every penny.

We were really happy with how much fun our pet had in the huge dog run outside the inn. It’s not specifically a pet-friendly place, but there aren’t many rooms, so we didn’t have to worry too much about our pet’s comfort. Dinner was simple and very tasty 🤤. The baths, a large public one and an outdoor one, were relaxing. There’s no convenience store or anything nearby, so shop before you arrive lol. Pet supplies included a cage and toilet mat. They didn’t have a bowl for our pet’s food, so they gave us a paper plate 😊

The fishing spot run by the local fishermen’s cooperative nearby was a fun bonus on my second visit. I caught trout there and grilled it, and it was incredibly good. I’ll definitely come back. The inn itself is easy to reach, small and cozy, and very well kept. The food is delicious, with a familiar, appealing taste rather than the showy style of a high-end ryokan. They lay out the futons before check-in and leave you undisturbed until checkout the next day, which I really appreciate. Great value for the money.

What stood out most was how kind everyone was. The landlady clearly loves dogs, and the whole staff was friendly and welcoming. Our dog got heatstroke during the long drive, and they helped us in so many ways. We were really grateful. The rooms were spacious and very clean, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent. Pets are welcome and there’s a dog run. It seemed like we were the only guests, so we had the hot springs and open-air baths to ourselves.
