KENJIRO S.
The restaurant on the first floor made dinner easy on a rainy evening, and around ten other guests came in too. I waited there for breakfast the next morning, which was meant to start at 7:00 AM. A few minutes after I arrived at 6:30, several middle-aged men in work clothes showed up, and breakfast was served early. I’d hiked to this somewhat dated business hotel on October 2nd, 2025. My room had a bit of a smoke smell, probably because I’d booked a smoking room, though it had most of the facilities I needed.

There were blankets available, which was a plus. But the room hit me with a strong cigarette smell as soon as I walked in. It was the worst-smelling place I’ve stayed in, even after trying plenty of other inns. The refrigerator had a fishy odor too, so I wondered whether it had been cleaned. It also seemed like there weren’t any non-smoking rooms.

The little racks for drying laundry and the several regular clothes hangers were especially useful. I try not to use dryers much because I don’t want to damage my clothes, so having that option was a real help. The room was a bit old, but completely fine for the price. It’s not very far from the station, and there’s a supermarket, drugstore, and 100 yen shop nearby. Thanks.

There’s a step between the guest room and the entrance to the unit bath, and the rooms have a traditional feel. The hotel itself is well maintained, and the front desk staff are really friendly. You can get to the LaLaport restaurant on the first floor from inside the hotel for breakfast or dinner. The parking lot might feel tight if you have a larger vehicle.

The free washing machine was handy, and detergent was included too. The location is good, but the room was dirty and smelled bad, and the futon was really thin. I paid 800 yen for the Japanese-style breakfast, but it was pretty much inedible.
