The tatami floor in the bathroom was really comfortable. My breakfast-only plan also came with unlimited beer and highballs, which felt like a great deal. I stayed several nights with my motorcycle, and the staff kindly put it in the garage to keep it out of the rain. They were very helpful and kind.

From a hot spring fan's point of view, the spring water is drinkable, smooth, clear, and has no smell. I felt warm after drinking it. The tatami-floored public bath is a rare sight these days and brought back memories. The open-air bath did have a fairly strong chlorine smell, which was disappointing. I stayed in March 2026 with a breakfast plan. Lately I've gotten used to chain hot spring inns, so this reminded me of the traditional hospitality I'd forgotten. I'd arranged a shuttle for my return trip ahead of time, and a car was ready when I checked out without me needing to ask. The polite service felt just like an old-fashioned inn, and the food was good. I was very satisfied.

The women's outdoor bath looks directly toward the second-floor shoji doors, which made me wonder if that was okay. The spring water also had a strong bleach smell. I couldn't find an alcohol vending machine in the building. I'll come back to that later, since I haven't had dinner yet.
