The ocean view is so wide and beautiful, and the place has a bit of a nostalgic feel. I was pleasantly surprised. If you like nature and need to de-stress, you’ll appreciate it here.
Walking paths to Koijigahama Beach and the lighthouse make it easy to get out for a stroll before or after check-in. The view from the room is the real draw: deep blue water and white waves in the daytime, then sparkling light across the sea at dusk and ship lights in the distance at night. It was peaceful and felt like a real treat. The inn was spotlessly clean, and the staff were attentive while still giving us comfortable space. It’s a lovely place to recharge surrounded by the sea breeze and sound of waves, and I’d want to return. #Irago #Aichi trip #Healing accommodation #Ocean view #Koijigahama #HotelWithAView #Refresh #DomesticTravel #SoundOfWaves #SeaBreeze #Irago #AichiTrip #OceanView #Koijigahama #HealingStay #JapanTravel #HotelWithAView #NatureLovers #TravelJapan
From my room I could see the sea and the sunrise, so I hurried over to Koijigahama Beach to take it in. It’s just a two-minute walk away, and the view was amazing. I treated myself to this trip as a reward for the year. Dinner was Asian French, and every bite made me happy. I finished everything, dessert included, and enjoyed my drinks too. After a light workout, I had Japanese breakfast with 12 little side dishes, including grilled clams, shirasu, and other seafood rice pots with fish. Naturally, I ate it all. Loved the tropical resort atmosphere.
The tour to the Nanohana Flower Festival included lunch. We took the ferry from Toba, but the waves were rough and the ride bumpy, so I got seasick. I honestly didn’t enjoy the meal much, though I did finish it. The sliced strawberries for dessert were delicious as sorbet. Thanks to the staff member who picked me up and dropped me off, and gave me motion sickness medicine.
The food was delicious, which made the rest especially disappointing. It was a weekday with hardly any guests, yet they put me in a room at the far end of the third floor. There are rooms on the second floor, and other guests were nearby on the third, so I wondered why I couldn’t be placed closer. With only stairs, every trip out, to the bath, or to eat meant going up and down, which was a real pain. The hotel felt inconsiderate. The room was old, and its door looked straight out of the Showa era.
