Our kids had a wonderful time here. It’s a clean, well-equipped, typical Japanese house, and staying here was a really good experience. Arisa was a great host, kind and easy to communicate with. We’d recommend it and will come back.
The self check-in was easy, and the location is perfect. It’s a beautiful, large old Japanese house with lovely rooms and spaces.
Staying in a whole old house for the first time was fun, almost like walking into a fairy tale. I’d have liked a window screen, if I’m being a little picky. The window in the neighboring house was open, and I could see into the bathroom across the courtyard.
Our group of six was very comfortable in this great house, which had everything we needed. The host was helpful with advice, too. The location is fantastic, right by Takayama Old Town, Miyagawa Morning Market, and other attractions. We’ll definitely pick this place again next time we travel as a large group.
