We were lucky to have the whole dorm to ourselves for a couple of nights. The place was very clean, the owner was great, and the traditional neighbourhood made for a lovely setting. We'd stay here again if we return to Takayama.

Takashi was so helpful and friendly. I had a great time chatting with him each night in the cozy lounge, with local SAKE and oldies playing. The dorm was thoughtfully set up, each bed had a lamp, sockets, and a curtain, and everything was nice and clean. It's on a quiet street in the central Furui-machinami area, a handy base for exploring the sights. I'd recommend it especially to backpackers!

The staff were really kind and friendly when I stayed at this guest house in summer 2019. I had a good time with them and hope I can come back soon 😆

It felt like home, and the service was good. Coffee and tea were available, and I could use the kitchen whenever I wanted.
