The food was fresh, tasty, and traditional Japanese style, and I'd definitely come back. I stayed for one night and left with lovely memories. The owner was friendly, answered my questions, and helped me work out my route. It's conveniently close to the bus stop and public bath, and there's an onsen here too if you'd rather use that.

Reina and her husband, who I understand are the co-owners, made us feel very welcome and were wonderfully supportive. The accommodations were exceptionally clean, and the cuisine was outstanding. I spent two nights at Minshuku Takiyoshi during my recent Japan visit, and would wholeheartedly recommend it to other travelers.

I have a seafood allergy, so I couldn't have the set dinner, but the hosts suggested a great seafood-free restaurant in town. They were incredibly welcoming, and the indoor onsen was lovely. The room was comfortable and the service wonderful. Highly recommend!

The food was delicious, and the staff were incredibly kind and helped make our stay perfect. It's a lovely place to stay in Yunomine onsen, with easy access to Kumano Kodo hiking trails and beautiful nature.

The young couple running the lodge were the warmest, most welcoming hosts we met on our whole trip. The place was comfortable and ideally located, and the food was great. We had a very nice stay and would highly recommend it.
