Yubo Ichiraku

The staff were thoughtful and really helpful, even arranging for my larger luggage to be delivered to my next stop. I had a great time with the full-board kaiseki meals, private onsen, and bar, and the bonfire with marshmallows was a lovely touch. I can’t wait to visit again.

The onsen room was clean and spacious, and I had a good stay. There was a beer buffet all night, plus a cocktail bar after 20:00. They also had a campfire where you could relax in a camping chair and grill marshmallows.

The firepit was a highlight, and there were plenty of places around the clean hotel to lounge. The meals were fantastic, and I loved the yukata selection. My room was basic but a good size. I couldn’t use the public onsen because I have tattoos. Fortunately, there are several private onsens to book. Only one was available during my stay because the others were under maintenance, but the staff kindly made sure I got a time slot each day, which I appreciated.

Watching the snow fall while soaking in the bath was so relaxing. We had a room with a private bath and also tried the public onsen. The complimentary drinks around the hotel were delicious, and both the food and service were sublime. It’s one of the nicest places I’ve stayed, and I hope to come back soon.
