Hotel Kanaloa

We felt at ease as soon as we arrived, thanks to how welcoming the staff were. The room was clean and looked after, and the Japanese food was delicious, with authentic flavors and obvious care in how it was prepared. It was a lovely stay, and we’d happily recommend it.

We only wish we’d had longer here. The service and food were both top notch, and the shuttles to and from the beaches were dependable. Staying on the port side was absolutely worth it.

The free shuttle made getting to different beaches easy, and the staff were always kind, helpful, and caring. I spent five days here and it was the best hotel of my three-week trip around Japan. The manager helped me a lot, too, and I’m especially grateful for that. I loved every meal at the restaurant, and between the comfortable room, the welcome, the services, and the location, everything exceeded what I’d hoped for. I chose the hotel because of its reviews, and I can see why people praised it. I’d sincerely recommend it for a solo trip, a couple, or a family. It’s a lovely way to enjoy the island and make the most of your time there. :)

The staff were so friendly and patient, and we really appreciated getting rides to Tokashiku or aharen beaches more than once. Remember to reserve the shuttle. Our room was small but tidy and had what we needed. The toilet and shower were beyond what we expected. The bed was a bit small for two Europeans, so be ready to snuggle up 😀. We loved staying here!
