Bizan kaigetsu

I stayed two nights and enjoyed the hot spring. The service was excellent, and the place was clean with a good view. Recommended.

The rooms and bath were really nice. There’s no ice bath, though, and walking up to the hotel at night can feel like a bit of a hike.

The views were spectacular. The building is old, but they’ve done a good job keeping it up. I loved this place.

The name had already tipped me off that the hotel sits on a mountain, but I started wondering if I’d made a mistake as I climbed the narrow, winding road. Once I arrived, the view was spectacular, and I was very happy with the panorama from my room. The dinner buffet was fresh, had lots of variety, and lived up to what people say about it. The staff were kind and professional too. My companion took a morning bath and was late for breakfast, and they checked on them. I only stayed there the other day, but it’s the kind of hotel that makes me want to return.
