APA Hotel Hatchobori Ekimae

Being right by Hatchobori station on the Hibiya line made getting around Tokyo easy, especially after long days of sightseeing. I was in Tokyo for the first time and couldn’t have asked for a better hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and they left fresh towels every day. There was lots of useful information in the room about both the hotel and Japan and Tokyo generally. The TV also had a great portal with plenty of free on-demand entertainment.

The room was clean and well maintained, with a comfortable, luxurious bed. It was larger than the rooms in many small Japanese hotels, not tiny at all. The location is central Tokyo, just a few minutes’ walk from the nearest station. A great choice if you’re watching costs but still want the best.

The neighborhood is quiet, and the major train lines are a short walk away. Staff were friendly and available for questions or help. I appreciated the nice selection of in-room amenities, along with fresh towels delivered to the door each morning.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast room was small but cozy. Breakfast was in a tiny space, though. The hotel is new, from 2025, and very well located, close to the metro and about a ten-minute walk from Tokyo Central Station. The rooms were clean and tidy, with a standard-for-Japan amount of space. It was quiet inside despite being in the city center, though the rooms are spread over several floors, so the elevator can get congested.
