Good location, and the rooms are small but clean and well designed. Self check-in was a challenge. My passport didn’t scan properly, and I felt the staff there could have helped but didn’t. The washer was great, but it took the dryer 2.5 hrs to dry our clothes. Maybe it isn’t cleaned regularly, and I couldn’t clear the lint myself before using it. That could be improved.

The customer service was warm and thoughtful, and we felt very welcome. There’s a big dining area for hotel guests to hang out in 24/7, two large security elevators, and two clean, modern lobby toilets. The hotel doesn’t have a proper larger table, but there is a slightly bigger folding one. We stayed for 16 nights with no regrets and would come again if the rates are reasonable and affordable. :)
The staff were kind and really helpful, so I’d stay here again. The room was a bit bigger than APA rooms, and being so close to popular areas of Asakusa made it easy to pop back whenever needed. The breakfast was underwhelming, so I wouldn’t recommend it. The hallways were consistently dirty, with room service cleaning and tossing the bed sheets around.
The staff were always smiling, polite, and ready to help, and I loved the rooftop views of skytree, plus the free coffee and tea in the open space. The rooms were clean and just the right size for two large luggages, with twin beds and a Toto toilet and shower. There’s coin laundry with easy-to-follow English instructions, and I appreciate that the hotel is eco friendly. It’s a bit far from train stations, but the bus stop is right in front. Sensoji temple is a short walk away, and we loved going late at night after the crowds had left. Sumida River and Park are about 10mins away on foot. I was lucky to see the weeping cherry tree already abloom. 🌸❤️🇯🇵
The shared area has complimentary amenities, which is a thoughtful convenience for travelers. The location is excellent too, within a 10-minute walk of shopping streets, Senso-ji Temple, and Asakusa Station. Hotel Monday Asakusa was very family-friendly, with clean rooms and well-equipped facilities that made our stay comfortable. I’d recommend it to families visiting Tokyo.
