We ended up sitting at a playground nearby and searching for another hotel. The owners seem to have no control over this business. We arrived to find debris all over the room, sticky floors, and used bedding left on the beds. We'd just received a letter about cleaning problems, even though checkout was supposed to be by 10 a.m. so cleaners could finish their work. Management apparently hadn't known about the mess for more than six hours, and only warned us after check-in had already started. They asked us to wait around until 8 p.m. for the cleaner, then offered a two-hour-later checkout as compensation. When we turned that down, they offered to pay us to clean the room ourselves.

The facilities weren't good, and getting a response took far too long. The photos showed bunk beds, but the actual setup was nothing like that.

The host got back to me quickly and handled the problem I had right away, carefully and politely. The place also had everything I needed, so I had a really good stay. Thank you!
