Hotel Tachibana

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and with a supermarket and convenience store just across the street, eating in the room is easy too. The station is close, which makes the location really convenient. The place is a little old, but for the price I was very happy with the private bath. I'd stay again if I get the chance.

I thought the low price made the stay worthwhile, but parking nearby gets expensive. The cheaper night rate only seems to start around 8 or 9 pm, so arriving early can leave you with a parking bill of 4,000 to 5,000 yen. The stairs are fairly steep, and carrying lots of luggage up to the third floor is a bit of a struggle.

I booked here after nearby hotels had no rooms because of the inbound tourists. It's old-fashioned, but the price feels fair for what you get, and the staff are really kind.

The front desk woman had such a kind voice that I felt at ease. The hotel has a really nostalgic feel, and somehow it reminded me of my own bed, so I slept well. It's right behind a complex near Oimachi Station, which made getting around easy. There is Wi-Fi, and for anyone wanting a private room at the lowest possible price, I think it should do the job. Non-smoking private rooms in Tokyo are incredibly expensive, so I chose this one for the price even though it only has stairs. It definitely feels like a place with a lot of history.
