Hotel Edoite

The room itself was awful, lol. The place smelled despite being non-smoking, and there was hair in the unit bathroom. The only hairdryer was in the room, and it smelled like hair too, though I can't tell if it was the dryer or the room. The hallway was hot, maybe because there's no air conditioning there. The location's good, close to the station, with bars and convenience stores nearby. The reception staff were nice, and being able to request a rental car for 1000 yen was really helpful. I might stay again if I prepare in advance.

The older woman on staff was really nice and left me with a good impression. The building is old, and some areas weren't cleaned perfectly, though I didn't see any mold and it seemed they were trying to keep up with maintenance. The room was small but fine for sleeping, in a quiet residential area. The shower had steady temperature and pressure. I skipped the weak, dusty hairdryer. The toilet smelled a little when the lid was open, but closing both the lid and bathroom door kept the smell from being noticeable. For somewhere so close to a Tokyo train station, it was great value. I'd consider staying again.

For a business trip, the price was reasonable and the rooms were clean compared with others in the same price range. Morishita Station is close by, with easy access to the city center on the Toei Oedo Line and Hanzomon Line. I was especially glad to have a 100-yen Lawson and a Life supermarket within walking distance. There's a small hassle of climbing a few stairs before reaching the elevator, but I'd stay here again.

I spent two weeks here for a company-funded certification training course, and it was a comfortable stay. Morishita Station is about a five-minute walk away, just off the main street on the road with the police box. For such a convenient spot, the price was surprisingly affordable. The receptionist was very kind. On my last day, she kept my luggage from checkout until the morning of my exam. There were convenience stores, restaurants, and izakayas nearby, which suited me well for studying and just having a place to stay. The room had a small fridge, and there was a shared microwave, washing machine, and dryer, so I didn't lack anything. Now I just have to wait and see if I passed the certification exam...
