Hotel Gracery Shinjuku

The concierge team made us feel welcome, especially Ouchi, who went out of their way to find and confirm events for us. The location was convenient too, with a 7-Eleven downstairs and Shinjuku Station just a five-minute walk away, making it easy to explore. Washer and dryer facilities beside reception came in handy, although they can be busy in the evenings. Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The shower had strong pressure and reliably hot water, perfect for winding down after a long day. We had a fantastic stay.

The room's carpet and walls looked older and maybe weren't perfectly clean, though I saw the cleaners working hard every day. The toilet and wet room, with its shower and bath, felt clean. They brought two bottles of water daily and also provided bath powder. Every morning, there's a cash-only service for sending luggage ahead. The location was the main reason I chose this hotel. The limo bus from NRT drops off near the movie theater, an easy walk even with bags. There are a Lawsons, Family Mart, and 7-11 close by, plus the Ginza Happo Shinjuku buffet about five minutes away and plenty of other options. Service was great, the staff were helpful and spoke English. I'd read online that young people gathered and drank outside, but we didn't see that. A few guys were talking, singing, and smoking. There were lots of police around, so it felt safe at night.

I spent 6 nights at Hotel Gracery and was very satisfied. My room on the 28th floor had a beautiful view, and for the price, the value was hard to beat. It's right in the middle of Kabukicho, inside the famous “Millennium Tower” for fans of the Yakuza / Like a Dragon game series. Having a Lawson right across from the hotel was handy for snacks, drinks, and anything else I needed. This isn't a luxury hotel, but it covered everything I needed from a dependable place to stay in Tokyo. The room had no window I could open, and the toilet wasn't as modern as in some other hotels I've stayed at in Japan. Those were small drawbacks. I'd definitely stay here again. 5/5.

I'm staying here now on my first trip to Japan, and I'd absolutely come back. It's clean, professional, and really well maintained. The Godzilla theme is fun and kept in decent shape. The location is ideal, close to shops, restaurants, and Shinjuku Station. Housekeeping does a great job. Phenomenal hotel!
