Hotel Pasela Living

For our family of four (B13, G11), this was an incredible way to start our Japan trip. The hotel was super close to the subway and all the action in Shinjuku, but quiet at night. Everything was super organised, with an amazing collection of electronics. The bunk beds felt like little hideaways for the kids, and my daughter loved trying the free little cosmetics sachets.

The bathroom and shower are fantastic, and we really wanted to take them home with us. We loved this place. The room or suite is highly functional and very Japanese, with everything thoughtfully planned and organized. Japanese toilets are amazing. We’re so behind the times in the U.S.! If you get a chance to stay here, do it.

The bed sheets make a lot of noise when you move, which interfered with my sleep. Apart from that minor issue, the service was very good. The rooms are spacious, and the toilet and bathroom are clean and beautiful. The shampoo and gels feel high quality, and they provide free drinks and food too. The item buffet is very good. I’d give it 4.8/5.

The nearest major station takes a little extra effort to reach, either by bus or a 13-minute walk, but the added benefits made it worthwhile. Traveling with kids was so much more comfortable here. Everyone had their own bed, and there was room for luggage as well as space for us to socialize and eat together. The lobby had a huge choice of toiletries for some extra pampering, and the room came with thoughtful things for younger children, like stepstools and kids’ plates and silverware.
