Service was okay and the location was great, with Tokyo Dome right in front. The price is okay for the location, but the building and rooms are very old and difficult to manage with a suitcase. Even the non-smoking room smelled of cigarettes. The amenities, equipment, and appliances were old and not very good, and there wasn't enough of them. I found a lot of hair in the room when I arrived, which made me very uncomfortable about how unclean it was. For a holiday on my own, the room felt old, unclean, and smoky. I'd bring my own shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and facial products.

Being near Tokyo Dome and the shops was handy, and housekeeping came every day. But the room was really hot: the air conditioning didn't work and the window couldn't be opened. There wasn't in-room Wi-Fi either; they gave me a kit that I had to set up myself. For more than $100 a night, it wasn't worth it.

The staff were wonderful to deal with!

Just okay.

The front desk staff were helpful when I stayed here for a concert in February 2025, and getting around was easy. Still, the experience left me thinking Suidobashi is best avoided. The place felt like a typical Showa-era hotel, and the room was dark and cold. The shower stopped giving hot water, and I caught a cold. I’d never had that happen in a hotel before. The outlets were loose and kept unplugging themselves. Even though I was in a smoking room, the hallway smelled more strongly of cigarettes. After the dome concert, nearby shops were packed, so I wound up with convenience store bento boxes for dinner. With inbound tourism, the rate was in the 10,000 yen range. Before COVID-19, I think 3,000 yen would have been fair.
