Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Tamachi

Getting around Tokyo was easy with the Yamanote Line just a five-minute walk away, and that was the best part of the location. The hotel was very clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Karino was especially supportive and made things much easier for me. The rooms are small by standard, but well designed. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Arigato gozaimasu 😊

The building was beautiful inside, with a zen garden in the middle of the guest room area. Our superior twin had a couch-style sitting area, good AC and a clean, modern feel. It was spacious enough by Tokyo standards. The metro and subway stations were about a ten-minute walk, and we liked the quieter, more scenic area by the water. Breakfast was a basic buffet with Japanese and Western staples, including scrambled eggs, sausages, a salad bar and drink bar. We’d stay again.

The rooms are on the small side compared with Western standards, but they’re well designed and comfortable enough. The hotel was incredibly clean, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. The best thing is the location, only five minutes from the Yamanote Line, which made getting around Tokyo easy. I had a great stay and would come back.

I had a really nice conversation with the cleaning staff on several occasions, and they were lovely. The hotel is quiet, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the rest of the staff are friendly too. There’s a free happy hour from 5-7 pm where you can have a drink, and it’s convenient for getting into Tokyo. Highly recommend.
