Hiro replied to my emails quickly, and the photos and instructions made the room easy to find and get into. It was quite small, but had more than enough space for what I needed. The area is quiet, with convenience stores nearby and McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and KFC around the station if that's your thing. The post office is about a 4-5 minute walk away. It's an excellent location, three or four minutes from the station, then only ten minutes by train to Shibuya. Highly recommended.

The one bright spot was the woman on the phone, who was polite and helpful. The rest of the stay was bad enough that I canceled the nights I’d planned and left after one. My room key wasn’t in the mailbox, so I had to get in with the emergency key, which made me feel really uneasy. I could hear water running in nearby rooms, the remote didn’t respond, and the towels smelled like seafood rather than dampness. The smell even got into my hair. There was also food left in the fridge from the previous guest. The refund took about two weeks after it was supposed to be available. Since the hotel and booking site weren’t communicating, I ended up dealing with a string of emails and phone calls.

That shop clerk is a god.
