It's an easy walk from JR Toyama station. I arrived around 11 am on 30 Dec, and the staff could tell I was a tourist and spoke with me in English. I appreciated that. I left my luggage with the concierge while I explored, and both staff members were extremely helpful. They made me feel welcome in Toyama, and I'm proud of their good service. I came back around 5:15 to 5:30 pm, and a male trainee, as I saw on his badge, handled my check-in. Everything went smoothly. I handed over my passport for the formalities, and he promptly gave me my breakfast voucher and room key. I'm happy with my stay so far and glad I chose this hotel for my short visit.

We stayed two nights in Nov 2023 and loved how close it was to Toyama station. We could get to the shinkansen lines really early. The service was top notch for a non-luxury hotel, and we got free tram tickets. The rooms are very small, as expected. In our couple room, there was barely enough space to move around while sorting our luggage. We still love APA chains, and it was good value for money. :)

I paid for parking at the counter, then went out for dinner just 1-2 hours after checking in and ended up paying twice for parking. You should pay directly, since it's cheaper. They don't explain the system well to guests. It's a shame, because it was only a little money, but it left a bad impression.
