Tateyama Sanroku Onsen Sato No Yu Raicho

The common space on the first floor had toys and picture books that my daughter enjoyed. Our room was a little dated, but the bed was comfortable and we slept well. The food was delicious and the hot springs were high quality, all at an affordable price. It was a wonderful stay, and we were very satisfied. We'll definitely come again.

The bed was a bit too soft and left my back hurting 🥲 Still, the bath and food were both great. I had a wonderful stay and would love to come back.

After coming down from Mt. Yakushidake 🏔️, I spent the night here. The room was a little dated, but it had been renovated and was clean. The alkaline spring bath outdoors was fantastic, and so were the heartfelt meals and the owner's personality, just as others have mentioned (^^). I hope to stay here again when I climb Mt. Tateyama someday.

I was there on my own in July and had an amazing time. The owner even drove me to and from Tateyama Station. There aren't any convenience stores or other shops nearby, so I'd suggest taking a meal plan. The food was the standout for me: local fish and wild vegetables were among the ingredients, and it was the best inn meal I've had in my 50 years. The hot spring was just the right temperature and left my skin feeling silky. The owner's personality is another big part of what makes this inn special. Those are the three things that made it so good.
