Okay.

I stayed on the two-meal plan and had a really relaxing time: a soak in the large public bath, food and a beer at the restaurant, then a quiet rest in my room. The surroundings are peaceful, and the shoe removal at the entrance, like a traditional Japanese inn, adds to the clean feel. Dobashi Station is within walking distance, and there’s free parking, so getting there is easy. There isn’t much around, though, so it may not suit anyone hoping to eat or drink out nearby. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Dinner and evening drink sets are available without a reservation, and breakfast was delicious with lots of vegetables. The baths and coin laundry are separated for men and women, so women can stay comfortably. There’s also a diaper changing station in the large public bath changing room, which is handy for guests with small children. The outside looks retro, but inside it’s clean, and the bathrooms and large public bath are very nice. I’d definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

The train was close to our room, but it turned out to be quieter than I expected and we slept peacefully. The area is fairly sparsely populated, and there are plenty of free parking spaces with no reservation needed. Public transport was a bit complicated, so having a car would make things easier. We stayed one night on November 5, 2025, with breakfast and dinner included. The staff were so friendly and always smiling, including the lovely restaurant team. Dinner was delicious and filling. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, with generous portions and coffee, milk, and juice. Service was quick. The room was very clean, and the Japanese-style bed was a little firm but acceptable. You take off your shoes to enter, which isn’t something you see at many hotels, and the floor was spotless, almost free of sand. On the fourth floor, the large public bath felt safe for women because entry requires a card. There was also a convenient washer and dryer. I’d give the stay six stars.
