The room was clean and spacious, the onsen facilities were great, and the meals were good with nothing to complain about. The hotel is on a hill in a remote spot, with no nearby facilities except the day-use onsen next door, which has a canteen. Having a car makes it pretty accessible. For private onsen rooms, you get one free reservation per night of your stay. Extra use costs a little over 3,000 yen.

It’s surrounded by nature, even though it’s only about 20 minutes from Nagoya. The shuttle bus from Fujigaoka station is great. The onsen bath is huge, while the outdoor pool is small but nice. The woods nearby are perfect for a run before soaking.

The setting was beautiful, and the staff were so kind and gracious. I really appreciated the hospitality. This onsen is up near Studio Ghibli park and has a shuttle to the park. The pure radon water in the baths left me feeling refreshed and restored, like a new man. Dinner was ten courses, cooked by a chef at what felt like a Michelin level, with an eclectic style and presentation that seemed underrated. I’d highly recommend the experience.

This was our third stay, and we love the place, especially the food. Both dinner and breakfast were amazing. The surroundings are peaceful, and the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and clean. You can book a private onsen, though the public baths are nice too.
