The place felt really distinctive and beautiful, and I loved my whole stay. It’s run by women, and there are a few lovely little onsens you can book for private use with your family.

The breakfast was very good, and the ryokan has several private onsen rooms, which work well for couples or larger families. I’d recommend it.

Such a lovely atmosphere, with really cute decor. The onsen stay was the best 🩷🩷🩷 💯

I had a great time wandering through the old, narrow streets by the sea nearby. Seeing everyday local life there felt like stepping back in time, and that’s one of the pleasures of traveling. I’d like to stay here again. The inn itself had excellent hot springs, food, and atmosphere. Our room cost 19,800 yen. It was old, but that added to its charm, and the new, clean toilet and sink made it feel comfortable. The renovated room with a hot spring was fresh and clean too. The private bath was available when its lights were off, and the water felt pleasantly thick, so I could enjoy it whenever I wanted. All the meals were delicious, with a good balance of meat and fish, and I enjoyed breakfast as well. The waitresses were very friendly. There were several foreign staff members, some very kind, while a few seemed a little inexperienced.

The rooms have been renovated and are very clean, and the baths were a highlight, especially the cypress one. They were deeply relaxing, and the water quality ranks among the best three hot springs I’ve tried. It’s an international inn with foreign staff, but the hospitality felt very Japanese and was excellent. The food was excellent too. If I were staying nearby, I’d come here often.
