This was one of the worst hotel stays we’ve had. We’ve been coming to Japan for over 20 years, at least once each year, and paid a lot for two nights of half-board. We left after just one night and didn’t even have breakfast. For what it offers, this place is outrageously overpriced. We’d reserved a suite with two bedrooms and five twin beds, but were given a single room with only two beds, even though we were two adults and one child. The staff showed no understanding and tried to charge extra for a bed for our child. Only after we insisted did they reluctantly provide one. It shouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. Dinner was unacceptable at this price. They didn’t offer a menu for our child, and the food was extremely poor. The tuna was full of sinew and completely inedible. Some dishes came in cheap plastic containers with glitter, which was shocking for a hotel claiming to offer a refined experience. The onsen was in a disgraceful state, with visible mold. The price and quality don’t match at all, and the place honestly feels like a scam. Avoid it at all costs.

The meals were a real highlight. Everyone was very satisfied with dinner, especially the BBQ Saga beef, which melts in your mouth. Breakfast was just as good, and the special tofu was unforgettable. We also had a lot of fun here and loved the cozy rooms and baths. The staff always greeted us warmly when we saw them and were ready to help whenever we needed anything. We absolutely loved our stay and hope we can come back when time allows.

The food was decent, and everything else was up to Japan’s standards. The women’s onsen is better. There’s also a day-use hot spring building next door, though it’s cold to get there in winter.

We were on a family trip, stopped by, and stayed one night. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, with lots of little dishes and different kinds of food. That was certainly a lot of dishes to wash!

Good value, with a nice Keiseki breakfast. The room was a good size and clean, and there are lots of good restaurants nearby. The onsen is a little small, but still fine for the price.
