Business Hotel Takara

My futon and pillow were comfortable, and the shower pressure was almost too strong. The room had three outlets, but none near the table, which made using my computer a pain. There was a small fridge that could hold six 2-liter bottles, though it had no freezer and barely kept things cold. For toiletries, there was a little wrapped bar of soap and rinse-in shampoo, not body wash. The hotel has north and south buildings, with the front desk and yakiniku restaurant in a separate building between them. Smoke and grilled-meat smells hang around there, and when people were eating, the room could fill with white smoke. I booked one night with two meals. Breakfast was rice, miso soup, and up to three small side dishes, with raw egg, seasoned seaweed, and pickled plums also available. It was cold, since it had been made the day before and put straight in the fridge.

Very satisfied with the price, the station being close, and the delicious meat. My brothers and I found the variety set was just right for four. One of us drinks a lot, so we added two servings of Omi beef loin and ribs lol. Breakfast includes five side dishes, and you can ask for more rice. Just watch out in the unit bath, the faucet gets too hot when you turn on the water. The room criticism in the reviews feels way over the top. Sure, it would be different if this were a Washington or Route Inn, but having a business hotel here is something to appreciate. A convenience store is only a short walk away, which was handy. I didn't find the room inconvenient, despite what others have said. It was a pretty ordinary business hotel, though the smartphone signal was a little weak.

For this price range, the service feels fair, especially with hotel prices having gone up lately. The parking setup is confusing even with a sign, though. Late at night, yakiniku customers sometimes take all the spaces, so you need to ask the front desk where to park.
