For the location and price, this place is very reasonable. It's a little dirty, but cozy, and old in a charming way. The train station is an easy 5 to 10 minute walk, and you're near the interesting parts of Yokohama without being so close that a good night's sleep is hard to get. It's fine for one person or a couple, but I wouldn't put more than two people in one room. There's not much space. Still, with everything else in Yokohama so close, who can really complain?

Cheap private room, good location, and no fuss. The bathroom and bedroom are both small, and breakfast is just coffee, tea, and some biscuits, but if that's what you're after, this is the place.

Really good service. I'll be back more often.

For only 4,900 yen, I thought this was a steal. It's near Sakuragicho Station, and the Yokohama Museum of Art, Ferris wheel, Red Brick Warehouse, and Yokohama Arena are all walkable. If walking is difficult, renting a bicycle might help. The room has a nostalgic Showa-era feel and seems worth the price. It's a room-only plan, so that's fine by me. I saw comments that the unit bath is small, but to me it's a reasonable size for someone used to budget business hotels. The basics are provided: toothbrush, razor, soap, shampoo and conditioner, comb, free Wi-Fi, TV, hair dryer, and tea bags. I like the little soap bars at old-fashioned hotels, so that suited me. I'd bring my own lotion, shampoo, and conditioner. Budget business hotel guests are probably used to doing that anyway. If you forget, a nearby convenience store sells them, along with underwear, socks, and even bras, which is handy for a last-minute stay. There's a coin laundry too, though it's a bit old-fashioned. The smoking floors, hallways included, smell strongly of cigarettes, so choose a non-smoking room if that bothers you. Breakfast isn't included, but the old dining room is open in the morning with tables, coffee, and tea provided free. The staff seemed to get along well, which gave me a sense of security. They were polite and helpful. With the low price and convenient location, I'd stay here again. If you want lots of amenities, roomy accommodation, or a beautiful building, check the photos and amenities when booking and choose a hotel that includes those service charges.

It's a good option if you want to be near the station and pay around 5,000 yen for a weekday stay. You can leave your luggage before check-in, and they can check you in then too. They'll take your bags to the room and turn on the air conditioning. The building and facilities are old, with only basic amenities. The bathtub is small and may feel cramped for larger guests. There's no washlet on the toilet, and in winter the seat is so cold you have to brace yourself to sit down.
